Project Scope: Provincial Highway 62 Wanli–Ruifang Section, Provincial Highway 64 Bali–Xindian Section, and Provincial Highway 68 Nanliao–Zhudong Section
The project included the design, installation, integration and testing of the following systems: transmission systems, power supply systems, automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) systems, data collection systems, information display systems, traffic control systems, closed circuit television (CCTV) systems, wired telephone systems, tunnel public address systems, civil conduit works and structural steel works.

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) System Project
In support of the Taipei City Government's program to improve traffic congestion on major roads, UFO Communication Co., Ltd. undertook the CCTV system works for the Taipei City Traffic Control Computerized Signal System beginning in August 1992. The project was completed and placed into service in May 1996. The scope of work included the installation of full-function color cameras and terminal controllers at intersections along major roads in central Taipei and major arterial routes connecting the city, as well as conduit excavation, cabling to the control center and system integration into the central traffic control system.

The project was completed and placed into service in May 1996. The system included the installation of full-function color cameras and terminal controllers at intersections along major roads in central Taipei and major arterial routes connecting the city, together with conduit excavation, cabling and integration into the central traffic control system. A video wall consisting of 24 color monitors was provided and connected to 26 camera sets through an 84-core non-metallic composite fiber optic cable network. Full-function color cameras enabled the traffic control center to monitor more than 200 intersections throughout Taipei City. |
