In support of Taiwan Railway's nationwide computerized ticketing network program, UFO Communication Co., Ltd. has undertaken a series of fiber optic communication system projects since 1993, including the Changhua–Tainan and Hualien–Taitung sections, with a total length of approximately 300 kilometers. The scope of work included conduit construction, installation and splicing of fiber optic and copper cables, installation of optical line terminal equipment and PCM channel banks, as well as integrated system testing. Drawing on its extensive professional engineering experience, UFO Communication successfully completed the projects on schedule and to the required quality standards, providing reliable engineering services for Taiwan Railway.
