The UFOC prohibits the use of "conflict minerals" statements
The social and environmental problems caused by the source of raw materials for manufacturing products are becoming increasingly important, and the minerals from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn) and tungsten (W) have caused serious armed conflicts. UFOC does not use metal raw materials and understands that most of our suppliers do not have direct sourcing relationships with mining companies. Therefore, UFOC has incorporated the ban on "conflict minerals" into the supplier's green product policy to ensure that UFOC's products do not use such "conflict minerals".
The UFOC therefore states:
- UFOC suppliers must be responsible for social and environmental protection.
- UFOC does not use "conflict minerals" from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and surrounding countries and regions.
- UFOC suppliers should provide the source of gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn) and tungsten (W) contained in all products to ensure that these metals do not originate from "conflict mining areas".
